San Francisco's Conspiracy of Beards is 30-man choir from that performs gritty, original arrangements of the songs of Leonard Cohen. Transforming Cohen's simple melodies into complex 4- and 5-part harmonies, the group achieves a sound that is both robust and tender. One can hear influences of indie rock, jazz, gospel, barbershop, classical and even doo-wop in the unique arrangements the choir selects. Using the genius of Cohen's words, the Beards inspire their audience members to ponder romance, politics, sex, longing and spirituality, all amid laughter and cheers.

Founded in SF's Mission district in 2004 by Israel Matos. Manicato, a word derived from the native people of Puerto Rico known as The Taino, means a bold and valiant person of a good heart. The band Manicato lives up to this Taino ideal with it's socially conscious lyrics backed by a mixture of Salsa, Timba, Reggae, Hip Hop, and Rock.
"Los Fulanos, (Cuarteto de manos)" are a band of two guys (and four hands) that can't be tied down to a specific gender or flavor. Interspersing themselves throughout the streets of the Mission, they get entire blocks on their feet with just a guitar, a cajon and a fresh sound created from a diverse range of recycled rhythms but never losing the fundamental importance of the spoken word.
Eats Tapes specialize in noisy, spazzy techno bangers with irresistible hooks. Fusing a variety of influences, they comfortably straddle the San Francisco Bay Area's myriad club, psychedelic noise, and art-rock scenes.

Moe! Staiano is a percussionist who usually uses found objects, but has moved to doing drumming on found objects on his trap set (i.e. prepared percussion). Moe! has experimented through the years though solo percussion using pipes, food pans, pressure caps, sheet metals, nick-nacks & other stuff that has been found, given or stolen. One can expect to see Moe!'s show as a visual eye pleaser: running around throwing pipes on concrete, walking on pans with his feet to mute sounds or running amok, throwing his body into old cassette tapes or two dozen cymbals in any given performance.
