Anthony Morrison is an artist, writer and longtime participant of the Hospitality House Community Arts Program for 13 years. Anthony’s work is a marker brushed landscape of pop culture detritus: afterschool specials, comic books, soapy dramas, pulp magazines, 70’s cop serials, Blacksploitation films, Star Trek and cliff hangers. He has self published his writing online as well as shown his artwork at Mission Skateboards, Adobe Books and NIAD art Center.

The Community Arts Program (CAP) at Hospitality House is a free art studio in the heart of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. CAP believes everyone should have access to the power of art and expression. Since 1969, CAP has worked with low income & unhoused artists of many backgrounds, providing space to safely make and exhibit work.
